Rained out wknd fun

So the June 9-10 NTHJC show was cancelled... which was disappointing.. but  The Valhalla team was super welcoming for schooling on Sunday... so with the WF posse joining in we went down! Schooled everywhere and thanks to Queen Em for taking care of me... I rocked around the Schooling Derby & Handy Round! I have to admit yes that feeling of shitting my pants was there going into the in & out... but I closed my leg and looked between the Ears, & I even took a couple of the high options! That moment I didn't shit my pants

Ok ok people say all the time it's like riding a bike... or that age old saying you gotta get back on the horse....Well let's just say I personally feel whoever said that had lots of drugs or booze or both.  As everyone knows, I lost my soul horse back in 2015 to a tumor that ruptured his colon, instines, and liver. Saddness because I feel like I'm forgetting Moo and moving on. Scared because I've been out of the reg show scene since we moved to a TX. Nervous but just a pinch because I've NEVER owned...

The KJ story

So I am a Military Spouse & I was a successful Professional in the Equine Industry, but after years of being a PRO with my extremely crazy clients (its true the more money, the more crazy) & just myself running a H/J show barn with only a part time groom, I had a couple of mental breakdowns because I was a "People Pleaser". I started by making Tack trucks, and other tackroom accessories back in 2006 as a "stress" reliever. My therapist told me to make time everyday to build something, while I was transitioning thru the closing of my...
